Convene Canada is an annual conference hosted by the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy that brings together healthcare non-profits from across the country. With sessions conducted by industry leaders, the conference provides valuable insights into trends and developments in the industry. Topics range from governance to planned giving and everything in between. To be chosen to speak, presenters must submit their concepts to a committee.

As one of the few chosen to present at the conference held in Vancouver in May of 2024, I had the opportunity to deliver a presentation aptly titled ‘Byte-sized Breakthroughs; Foundations of an Effective In-House Digital Portfolio. In the presentation, I covered various topics including the Google Ad Grant program, optimizing your website for conversions, and how to utilize generative AI to supercharge your digital fundraising efforts. 

The session was very well received, with 85% of attendees stating they were “very satisfied” with the presentation. In addition, AHP listed the presentation first in their recap of the conference in their release following the conference.
